My primary research interests are project management and organizational maturity models, emerging project management processes and tooling, applied software development frameworks (agile and non-agile, with special focus on extending and tailoring for specific project contexts), communication and social dynamics in (distributed) software engineering teams.
I obtained the PMI PMP® certification shortly before Pluto was downgraded from planet, served as speaker at PMI and IPMA conferences and co-authored the 2nd ed. of the PMI OPM3™ standard, but as a certified Scrum Master I also enjoy working in agile and hybrid environments.
I supervise theses in the areas mentioned above and might be available. If you are interested, please drop me a mail with your CV and research proposal.
